Beth Almeida has more than 25 years of experience providing economic research and strategic advice in the areas of aging, retirement, workforce and employment. She has served by appointment by the U.S. Secretary of Labor on the Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans and on the Bureau of Labor Statistics' Labor Research Advisory Council. Prior to her work with Cove Research, Beth held positions with the American Institutes for Research, the National Institute on Retirement Security, and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Christian Weller, PhD is an expert on economic policy, consumer finance, retirement, savings, and wealth. His consulting practice spans econometric analysis of large data sets, policy simulations and program evaluation. He is the author of Retirement on the Rocks: Why Americans Can't Get Ahead and How New Savings Policies Can Help (Palgrave MacMillan 2016) as well as more than 500 refereed articles, reports, book chapters, and other publications. He has served on the executive boards of the Eastern Economic Association and the Labor and Employment Relations Association. Christian is Professor of Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston and is a Fellow at the university's Gerontology Institute.
